Nuveen adds to London team

US-based asset manager Nuveen has added to its London-based team with the appointment of Gregory Ohlson to the new role of head of UK consultant relations for its international advisory services team.

The hire forms part of the fund manager’s UK growth strategy, following increasing interest from UK and European investors, according to the firm.

He will report to Chris Leak, the firm’s head of UK international advisory services, and will work closely with head of global consultant relations Katie Jonas.

Ohlson, who was most recently consultant relations manager at PineBridge Investments, will be responsible for leading and developing relationships with UK institutional investment consultants.

He has also worked at Candriam Investors Group, where he was senior relationship manager, and has held roles at Spirit Advisory Services, Legal & General Investment Management, and Axa Investment Managers.
