Nordea adds conservative fixed income fund to outcome range

Nordic-based asset manager Nordea Asset Management has launched Nordea 1 Flexible Fixed Income Plus Fund, expanding its range of outcome solutions.

The fund aims to provide conservative investors with returns more in line with historical fixed income performance compared to the current low yield environment.

The strategy invests across all fixed income asset classes, but can also have a limited exposure to equities of up to 15%.

Nordea said that this additional flexibility allows the portfolio manager to slightly increase the fund’s risk/reward profile.

Karsten Bierre and Dr Asbjørn Trolle Hansen manage the fund. The pair are part of Nordea’s multi assets team, which oversees more than €80 billion of assets across various asset classes.
