NN IP and ChinaAMC to collaborate on One Belt One Road

NN Investment Partners is to collaborate with China Asset Management Co (ChinaAMC) on the massive Chinese infrastructure project known as One Belt One Road.

The two firms signed a memorandum of understanding to explore joint product development opportunities and leverage each other’s capabilities in European and Chinese capital markets.

The firms said they expected the memorandum to strengthen their environmental, social and governance offerings to clients.

Tang Xiadong, chief executive of ChinaAMC, said the firm hoped to bring more sophisticated investment strategies into China through cooperation with NN Investment Partners.

One Belt One Road is the Chinese government’s multi-trillion dollar infrastructure building project linking China to the rest of Asia, Europe and Africa. It is expected to be completed by 2049.
