Dutch asset manager NN Investment Partners (NNIP) has made three appointments to its responsible investment team in a bid to strengthen the group. Adrie Heinsbroek, Faryda Lindeman and Johan van der Lugt have all joined the firm.
Heinsbroek (pictured) joins the firm as head of the responsible investment team and previously worked for ING Bank Belgium where he was head of sustainability.
Other previous roles included senior sustainability advisor for ING Bank in the Netherlands as well as senior analyst for responsible investments at the ING investment office.
Lindeman’s role is senior corporate governance specialist and she joins the firm from Sustainalytics, an environmental, social and governance (ESG) research firm.
Her previous roles have included adviser on responsible investment and governance at Netherlands-based MN, and team leader at Institutional Shareholder Services.
As ESG specialist, Van der Lugt will coordinate the firm’s attempt to enhance ESG integration in NNIP’s investment process. He joins from Robeco, where he was a senior equity analyst.
Hans Stoter, chief investment officer at NNIP, said that the team will help “further accelerate” the integration of ESG factors across its investment processes.
