Newton IM appoints head of strategic relationships

London-based Newton Investment Management has appointed Jin Philips as head of strategic relationships for the Emea region.

In her new role, Philips will be responsible for directing Newton’s sales strategy across UK institutional and charity channels and Emea-partnered distribution relationships.

Philips previously worked at Newton IM for five years, from 2008 to 2013, initially as institutional relationship manager and later as co-head of North America.

She re-joins the business from SecureInsights, a management consultancy, where she was a consultant in the client strategy and solutions business.

Julian Lyne, Newton’s chief commercial officer, said: “Jin brings a wealth of experience back with her to Newton IM and we’re excited to have her on board again.”
