New director of CSSF sworn in

Marco Zwick (pictured right) was yesterday sworn in as the new director of the Luxembourg financial regulator, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted in Luxembourg by the Grand Duchy’s minister of finance Pierre Gramegna (pictured middle).

Zwick succeeds Simone Delcourt, who has now retired.

Zwick has worked in the financial industry since 1989 in a career that has included working as head of compliance at the Deutsche Börse Group and head of compliance and risk for Emea at Schroders.

He has also worked as chief compliance officer for Europe, the UK and Asia at RBC Investor & Treasury Services.

Zwick holds a master’s degree in business administration from Sheffield Business School, part of Sheffield Hallam University.
