Muzinich appoints global head of distribution

London and New York based corporate credit manager Muzinich & Co has appointed Tom Douie as global head of distribution.

London-based Douie steps into a position previously occupied by Josh Hughes, who has become head of European marketing at CIFC Asset Management.

In his new role Douie is charged with guiding a “fully global phase of expansion” for the corporate credit manager.

Prior to joining Muzinich, Tom Douie worked for seven years at Neuberger Berman, most recently as managing director and head of intermediary business for Emea and Latin America.

Before that, he held positions at American Century Investments, Lehman Brothers Asset Management and Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Founded in 1988, Muzinich is a privately-owned firm specialising in delivering public and private corporate credit solutions to institutional investor clients.
