M&G appoints head of asset-based lending

M&G Investments has appointed Oliver Wilson to be the firm’s head of asset-based lending.

Wilson, who joins M&G from Royal Bank of Scotland’s asset-based lending division, has 14 years experience in the field.

In the newly-created role he will be based in London and report to James Pearce, M&G’s head of direct lending.

Since 2009, M&G has originated and completed over £1.7 billion (€1.9 billion) of direct lending transactions.

As of June 30, 2017, London-headquarted M&G managed over £281.5 billion in assets for its customers.
