Mediolanum AM bolsters investment team

Mediolanum Asset Management has bolstered its investment team at its Dublin headquarters with the appointment of Astrid Schilo and Inma Conde.

Schilo joins Mediolanum as a multi-asset strategist and Conde as head of manager research.

Schilo has over 15 years’ experience of financial markets research and forecasting policy and previously worked as Exane BNP Paribas’ chief European economist for four years.

She has also worked at the International Monetary Fund as investment officer in their public markets group.

Conde joins from Minnesota Philanthropy Partner, a community foundation in the US – where she held the position of director of investments.

In her new post Conde will head Mediolanum’s analyst team and will be responsible for manager selection.

Mediolanum Asset Management is the Irish asset management company of the Mediolanum Banking Group.

The firm had €37 billion of assets under management as of June 2018 spread across 55 funds.
