Luxembourg for Finance appoints deputy CEO

Luxembourg for Finance, the development agency for financial services in the Grand Duchy, has appointed Philipp von Restorff as deputy chief executive.

Von Restorff, who will take up the position in June, is currently communications chief of the Luxembourg Banker’s Association (ABBL).

He has previously held the position of secretary of ABBL’s board of directors as well as chairman of the communication and corporate social responsibility steering committee of the European Banking Federation.

In his new post he will represent Luxembourg for Finance at the national and international level.

Von Restorff replaces Tom Theobald, who will transfer to work in Luxembourg’s Finance Ministry as director of development and promotion.
