Asset manager Loomis Sayles has launched two of its existing strategies, including US equity, through Luxembourg Ucits funds, extending their distribution.
The US-based manager has launched the US Growth Equity Fund and Global Growth Equity Fund, managed by Aziz Hamzaogullari.
The US fund uses a large-cap growth strategy that is already available as a US-registered mutual fund (started in 2010), a France FCP fund (launched in 2011), and a UK Oeic fund (launched in 2013). Hamzaogullari has been managing these funds in each of domicile.
The global fund uses a global growth strategy that is already available as an institutional commingled account and as a US-registered mutual fund. It is newer than the firm’s US growth fund, having only launched in the US in March this year.
The firm says Hamzaogullari and his team use a bottom-up process and take a long-term, private equity approach to investing.
Loomis Sayles manages $240 billion (€215 billion) in assets, as of June 30, 2016.
