Lombard Odier makes sales appointments in Germany and Austria

Lombard Odier Investment Managers (IM) has appointed Robert Schlichting (pictured) as head of institutional sales for Germany and Austria.

It has also appointed Frank Stefesas head of third-party distribution sales for Germany and Austria.

Schlichting joins from Deutsche Asset Management, where he was head of institutional sales, Germany. He reports to Jonathan Clenshaw, Lombard Odier IM’s head of Institutional sales for Europe.

Stefes has worked for Lombard Odier IM since 2010 and has overseen the firm’s business development in Germany and Austria over the last seven years. He reports to Martin Thommen, head of third-party distribution sales for Europe.

Carolina Minio-Paluello, global head of sales and solutions at Lombard Odier IM, said: “We are committed to investing in our capabilities in Germany and Austria.

“Our clients have complex and varied needs, and creating two distinct sales channels means we can offer a more targeted approach to existing clients whilst we also seek to build new relationships in these markets.”
