JP Morgan appoints custody & fund services head for Germany and Switzerland

The investment banking arm of JP Morgan has appointed Thomas Brand as head of custody & fund services for Germany and Switzerland.

In the Frankfurt-based role, Brand (pictured) will have oversight of product, sales, depositary services, client services and operations activities.

He will also work alongside the heads of Luxembourg and Ireland to evolve the firm’s European strategy for custody & fund services.

Brand most recently worked at DWP where he was division head for client management.  He has previously held senior leadership positions at BNY Mellon and BNP Paribas Securities Services.

Brand replaces Michelle Grundmann who has moved to a new role at State Street.
