High-level changes at CBRE Global Investors

CBRE Global Investors has appointed Sophie van Oosterom as chief executive for Emea, succeeding Jeremy Plummer who has been promoted to global chief investment officer.

In addition to her new responsibilities, van Oosterom will also continue in her current role as chief investment officer for Emea.

Plummer joined CBRE Global Investors in 2006 when the firm acquired Oxford Property Consultants, which he co-founded.

He was appointed chief executive of CBRE Global Investors Emea in 2016 and is a member of the global executive committee.

Van Oosterom has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and joined the company in 2013 as head of Emea special programs.

She was appointed chief investment officer of the Emea business in 2015 and is also a member of the global executive committee and global investment committee.
