Franklin Templeton appoints emerging markets equity manager

Franklin Templeton has appointed Nicole Vettise as institutional portfolio manager and senior vice-president to the firm’s emerging markets equity team.

In the newly-created London-based role, Vettise will support the firm’s suite of strategies for clients in Europe and North America.

Vettise has 20 years of experience in the investment industry and joins the firm from BlackRock where she managed a team of product strategists for a range of equity strategies including natural resources and thematic funds.

She previously has worked at RBC Global Asset Management and JP Morgan Asset Management and has also held communication and investor relations roles in Asia, Europe and London.
