Edmond de Rothschild teams with Chile partner

The Edmond de Rothschild Group is to expand its fund distribution in Chile after a deal with a local asset manager.

Rothschild has signed a deal with Chile’s Banchile Administradora General de Fondos (Banchile AGF).

In a statement, Rothschild said it would work with Banchile AGF to deliver its expertise in European and US equities, corporate debt and asset allocation though its “multi-specialist” model.

Edmond de Rothschild is an independent, family-controlled financial group focused on asset management and private banking. It was established in 1953 and since 1997 is headed by Baron Benjamin de Rothschild.

At December 31, 2016, the group had 166 billion Swiss francs (€151.5 billion) of assets under management and 2,700 employees.
