Edmond de Rothschild recruits head of convertible bonds

Cristina Jarrin recently joined Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management as head of convertible bonds.

Jarrin, who joined on August 1, took over the role from Laurent Le Grin, who has left the company.

Prior to the new role, Jarrin was deputy director of global convertible bonds at UBP.

She will be based in Paris and report to Kris Deblander, deputy chief investment officer of corporate debts and equities.

On Jarrin’s team are Alina Epifantseva, Thibaut Bailly and Ludovic Dufou, who joined last June.

Dufour joined in June and was previously senior asset allocation fund manager at Mandarine Gestion.

The convertible bond segment forms part of the corporate debt division, which has 15 private bond experts and nearly €6.3 billion in assets under management.

Of that figure, €1.4 billion is linked to convertible bonds – a figure that has grown from €370 million over the past ten years.
