Deutsche launches emerging markets ETF

Deutsche Asset Management has launched a new emerging markets ETF which provides broad exposure to emerging market equities.

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index Ucits ETF (DR)2 has an annual all-in fee of 0.2%. The fund listed on the Deutsche Börse and on the London Stock Exchange last week.

The fund, which forms part of Deutsche AM’s range of Xtrackers Core1 ETFs, has already generated over €200 million in assets under management.

“Using physical replication to track its underlying index, we expect significant investor interest in our new emerging markets ETF,” said Manooj Mistry, Deutsche AM’s head of passive asset management, EMEA and UK.

By the end of May of this year, Deutsche AM’s Xtrackers had generated net new assets of €4.1 billion.
