The Luxembourg funds industry association (Alfi) has re-elected Denise Voss as chairwoman of its board of directors for two more years – a period of time when the trade body says it will be looking closely at Brexit.
Voss has been a member of the Alfi board of directors since 2007 and was vice chairwoman for international affairs since 2011 before becoming chairwoman in June 2015.
Voss’s day job is conducting officer of Franklin Templeton Investments in Luxembourg, and she has worked in the Grand Duchy’s financial industry since 1990.
Alfi’s statutes were changed at an extraordinary general membership meeting this week. One of the main changes was to limit the number of board members’ consecutive terms.
The impact of Brexit on the funds industry will be high on Alfi’s agenda over the next two years, the trade association said.
