Crestbridge poaches head of fund services from Intertrust

Corporate services firm Crestbridge has appointed Michael Johnson as global head of services, replacing Michael Newton who has taken on the newly-created role of head of client delivery at the firm.

Joining from Intertrust, where he was head of funds in the Channel Islands, Johnson will be responsible for growing Crestbridge’s funds proposition.

Based in London, Johnson will support managers across asset classes helping them to navigate regulatory environments in multiple jurisdictions.

Johnson has more than 17 years’ experience in financial services. According to Crestbridge, he was instrumental in developing Intertrust’s fund strategy.

Before Intertrust he was head of fund services at BNP Paribas. Prior to that he was head of business operations at Swiss Re. He has also worked at PwC, and is also currently vice-chair of the Jersey Funds Association.

In his new role, Johnson’s predecessor Michael Newton will oversee client delivery and operations for Crestbridge’s fund, real estate and corporate services teams.
