France-based asset manager Carmignac has added to its UK sales team with the appointments of David Beacham and Edward Aram-Dixon. Both are newly-created roles.
Beacham, who joins from Goji Investments where he was head of distribution, will become the firm’s business development director in the UK.
Aram-Dixon joins as business development manager. He was previously with Schroder Investment Management for four years in the strategic accounts sales unit within UK intermediary sales. Prior to that, he spent six years at Citywire where he was commercially responsible for all ratings and research sales globally.
Both new hires will report to David Robson, head of UK retail for Carmignac. They will be responsible for developing business with UK and European investors, specifically focusing on the company’s recently-launched UK-domiciled Oeic funds.
The funds were launched in partnership with FundRock Partners Limited as authorised corporate director, as part of the Paris-based asset manager’s attempts to broaden the availability of its strategies to UK investors.
