CaixaBank Asset Management chooses Dimension

Spain’s CaixaBank Asset Management has bought SimCorp’s Dimension system to automate its operations in anticipation of growth.

The system is applied across operations from the front office to the back office and replaces applications built in-house.

Jaume Viladrosa Cutrina, chief technology officer at the Madrid-based asset manager, said Dimension would enable the firm to scale for growth by relying on a single source of data across the organisation, from trading to back office functions such as fund accounting.

Viladrosa Cutrina said: “In the front office, our teams will benefit from real time data enabling them to make faster and more informed investment decisions.”

Dimension works across functions including portfolio and order management, pre- and post-trade compliance, and performance measurement.

CaixaBank Asset Management has over €50 billion in assets under management.
