BNY Mellon hires hedge fund, ETF and structured products director

BNY Mellon has appointed Elizabeth Grier as hedge fund, ETF and structured products director and sales executive.

Grier previously worked as executive director for the client service alternatives segment at JP Morgan.

In her newly-created role based in London, Grier will report to Scott Coey, managing director and head of business development for hedge Funds, ETFs and structured products.

Coey said: “Elizabeth has a wealth of knowledge in the alternatives sector, gained through working directly for and with a variety of private equity and hedge fund focused banks and alternative investment firms.

“Her appointment underlines our strategic priority of continuing the development of our strong market position in alternative investment services.

As of end December, BNY Mellon had $33.3 trillion (€27 trillion) in assets under custody and/or administration, and $1.9 trillion in assets under management.
