BNY Mellon boosts EMEA trust and depositary team with senior hire

BNY Mellon has hired a former senior product manager from a rival custody bank to work in a newly created relationship management role.

Kevin Tomlin joins the London business of BNY Mellon as head of relationship management for trust and depositary clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea).

Tomlin was previously a senior product manager at BNP Paribas Securities Services working across areas including depositary, fund accounting and middle office.

He reports to Keith Whitelock, the banks’ head of Emea trust and depositary.

Daron Pearce, chief executive of BNY Mellon’s Emea asset servicing business, said Tomlin joined at an “exciting time” as the firm continues to develop its ‘One Emea T&D Model’.

Tomlin’s is the latest in a series of senior hires. BNY Mellon recently hired Linda McMahon from State Street as head of UK trust and depositary, and Christopher Stähler was hired from Helaba at the start of April to head the German branch.
