BNPP AM chief devolves investment role to former Henderson CIO

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Rob Gambi to the newly-created role of global head of investments.

Based in London, Gambi joins the firm from Janus Henderson Investors where he was most recently chief investment officer.

Reporting to chief executive Frédéric Janbon, Gambi will be a member of BNPP AM’s executive committee. Janbon previously acted as head of investments as part of his chief executive role.

Gambi will oversee the management and performance of investment teams across asset classes and locations, as well as all investment management activities.

Janbon described the new role as being instrumental in enhancing BNPP AM’s investment platform.
