BNP Paribas SS finds Luxembourg successor

BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNPP SS) has extended the role of its Netherlands and Nordic head to cover Luxembourg.

Robert van Kerkhoff becomes head of Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the Nordics after the previous Luxembourg chief, Frédéric Perard, took the role of global head of investment and fund services operations, also with BNPP SS.

Van Kerkhoff’s role is based in Luxembourg and he continues to report to Alessandro Gioffreda, head of Continental Europe.

BNPP SS, already well established in Luxembourg and the Netherlands, said it had also been growing its presence in the Nordics in recent years.

Van Kerkhoff’s new role was effective from March 1.

*Funds Europe published an interview with BNPP SS chief executive Patrick Colle in December. He talked about the firm’s success in the US market.
