BNP Paribas launches green bond sub-fund

BNP Paribas Asset Management has launched a green bond sub-fund that will target investments with a positive environmental impact.

Currently valued at €100 million, the Parvest Green Bond sub-fund will invest in bonds used to finance projects designed to mitigate or address climate change issues.

Fund manager Arnaud-Guilhem Lamy said: “The rapid expansion of the green bond market means that it is now diversified enough to offer a genuine investment solution.”

The sub-fund is benchmarked against the euro-hedged Bloomberg Barclays MSCI Global Green Bond Index and is currently registered for sale in Austria, France, Germany, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.

Parvest Green Bond is a sub-fund of the Luxembourg-domiciled Parvest Ucits Sicav Fund.
