BNP Paribas bolsters asset manager sec services team

BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed two senior sales people to work on its asset manager accounts in the UK.

Valeria Anderson has been appointed as senior sales director for asset managers, covering both traditional and alternative firms. She joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she was director of custody and agency services.

Colm O’Brien becomes senior sales director covering alternative investors. O’Brien was most recently director of fund services at SS&C Technologies.

Additionally Barry Kelly becomes business development manager covering asset managers and joins from outsourced corporate services provider, Centralis Group.

Patrick Hayes, regional head of BNP Paribas SS, said the new hires will bolster its business development across asset managers and asset owners.

In September, the UK business of BNP Paribas SS announced it had won a custody mandate from West Sussex Pension Fund.
