BMO GAM poaches director from Aberdeen Standard

BMO Global Asset Management (BMO GAM) has recruited Dominic Delaforce from rival Aberdeen Standard Investments as director of its UK institutional relationship management team. The firm declined to disclose who he will be replacing.

Based in London, Delaforce will be responsible for the firm’s UK pension fund clients.

At Aberdeen Standard he headed the UK institutional client relationship management team, working with UK corporate and local government pension fund clients across all asset classes.

Prior to joining Aberdeen Standard in 2005, Delaforce worked at Deutsche Asset Management where he had several roles including time spent as chief operating officer in Japan.

He will report to Greg Skinner, the fund manager’s head of UK institutional and consultant relations.

BMO GAM is a subsidiary of Canadian firm BMO Financial Group, which manages 830 billion Canadian dollars (€562.6 billion) of assets.
