Angela Summonte departs BNP Paribas for State Street job

Angela Summonte, formerly at BNP Paribas, has joined State Street as the regional head of solutions for asset owners and official institutions.

The job is based in Frankfurt and Summonte covers Europe, Middle East and Africa.

She replaces Oliver Berger, whose role now focuses on the Middle-East.

Summonte also worked in Germany for BNP Paribas Securities Services, where she held various sales roles in global custody, fund administration and banking over 14 years.

At State Street she reports to Maria Cantillon, regional head of sector solutions.

In the new role she will also work with product developers as well as leading the firm’s sales strategy for the asset owner and official institutions sectors.
