Amundi, Europe’s largest listed asset manager, swept the board at Funds Europe’s 14th annual Awards, held yesterday at a glittering ceremony in the Tower of London.
The Paris-based funds house won three awards including European ETF provider of the year. Amundi’s Pascal Blanqué claimed the prestigious European Chief Investment Officer Award in the asset manager category.
Meanwhile, the coveted Outstanding Achievement went to Yves Perrier, chief executive of Amundi.
Alan Chalmers, founder and publisher of Funds Europe as well as chairman of the judging panel, said: “The evening’s winners demonstrated excellence in performance, growth, innovation, development, client service, commitment to Europe and the industry – which are the key areas our awards are judged on.”
Following a champagne reception in the exclusive surroundings of the Tower of London’s New Armouries building, 26 awards were handed down in a glamorous Oscars-style ceremony, compered by Alan Chalmers.
The Personality of the Year Award went to Serge Krancenblum, chief executive of the SGG Group, and Mark Mansley of the Brunel Pension Partnership won the European Chief Investment Officer Award in the institutional investor category.
This year’s judging panel was made up of senior members of the asset management industry.
