Europe’s largest asset manager Amundi has launched two thematic exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The Smart City Ucits ETF will invest in new so-called ‘smart’ technologies which aim to help cities address the challenges of urbanisation by increasing efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
The fund will invest in public infrastructure, smart homes, e-commerce, healthcare, entertainment, and technology.
The Smart Factory Ucits ETF will invest in innovative and disruptive technologies involved in manufacturing. The fund will invest in advanced robotics, cloud computing & big data, cyber security, augmented reality & 3D printing and the Internet of Things.
Both ETFs track indices from Solactive and have been listed on Euronext Paris and Euronext Amsterdam with ongoing charges of 0.35%.
