Amundi appoints Ireland head

French asset manager Amundi has appointed David Harte (pictured) as chief executive in Ireland.

Harte joins from Pioneer Investments where he was chief operations officer in the country.

Harte also acts as Amundi’s deputy head of operations, services and technology.

Robert Richardson was Amundi’s head of Ireland prior to Harte’s appointment.

Harte, who reports to Guillaume Lesage and is a member of Amundi’s executive committee, has also previously worked at Bear Sterns Bank, also in Ireland, and is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin.
