M&G Investments hires global head of institutional distribution

Ominder Dhillon has joined M&G Investments as global head of institutional distribution.

In the role, Dhillon will be responsible for M&G’s institutional distribution across all asset classes and will report to Simon Pilcher, chief executive, fixed income.

Prior to joining M&G, Dhillon was managing director, global business development & client service at Impax Asset Management.

He previously worked as head of distribution – UK institutional at Fidelity International and head of UK institutional at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

Dhillon started his career as a corporate finance executive at Legg Mason before joining financial services firm John Morrell & Associates as director and portfolio manager.

Pilcher says Dhillon brings experience to M&G at a time when its institutional client base is becoming more international.
