Martin Currie selects Kinetic as Luxembourg ManCo provider

Signing dealMartin Currie Global Funds, a Luxembourg Sicav belonging to the Edinburgh-based Martin Currie fund management company, has appointed Kinetic Partners to provide management company services for its Ucits funds. Kinetic, a London-based professional services firm, launched its Luxembourg management company in March this year. Management companies, also known as ManCos, are increasingly important to fund governance, ensuring that fund structures are in line with local and international laws. The Sicav has $500 million (€383 million) in assets. Martin Currie, which invests in international equities, manages approximately $8.2 billion for a range of institutions, funds and other clients worldwide.
