Kiwi hedge fund appoints SEI

14.10_HandshakeKiwi hedge fund manager 36 South Capital Advisors appointed SEI to provide full-service operational outsourcing for the firm’s recently re-domiciled volatility funds. SEI will be in charge of fund administration, accounting, investor servicing, and trust and custody services for the New Zealand firm. “SEI’s global presence, technology, and scalability were critical for us as we sought an outsourcing partner,” said Richard Haworth, partner and CIO at 36 South Capital Advisors. “SEI’s proven platform and expertise across fund structures gave us the one-stop shop that we were looking for to provide a truly integrated solution.” “36 South’s ambitions to further expand were one of the reasons they wanted a single strategic outsourcing partner with the experience and solutions necessary to meet their needs,” said John Alshefski, senior vice president, SEI’s Investment Manager Services division. ©2011 funds europe
