JP Morgan Asset Management appoints global market strategist

JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed David Stubbs as global market strategist in the global market insights strategy team.

Stubbs will aim to deliver market and economic insight to financial advisers and institutional investors, focusing on the UK and Europe.

Previously a senior macro strategist with MRB Partners in New York, Stubbs has also held similar roles at Heitman Securities in London and at the United Nations Department for Economics and Social Affairs.

He will be based in London and will report to Stephanie Flanders, chief market strategist for the UK and Europe.

Flanders says: “David’s extensive analytical background and economic expertise will enhance our team’s research-driven approach and we’re delighted to have him on board.

“Our focus remains on cutting through the noise to help investors understand what is happening in the UK and global economy and why it matters to them and their financial future.”

JP Morgan Asset Management has $1.7 trillion (€1.3 trillion) assets under management, as of June 30.
