ING hires two for EM debt team

ING Investment Management has hired Marcin Adamczyk and Alia Yousuf as senior portfolio managers in its emerging market debt team, each specialising in local currency debt.

The firm is building up its emerging market team following the defection of 19 people to Neuberger Berman earlier this year.

Adamczyk joins from MN, a Dutch pension fund fiduciary manager, having previously worked at Lombard Odier Investment Managers in Amsterdam and Geneva. He will be based in The Hague.

Yousuf was previously head of emerging market debt at ACPI Investment in London having also worked at Standard Asset Management and First State Investments. She will be based in Singapore.

ING IM’s emerging market debt team is spread across The Hague, Singapore and Altanta, in the United States, and employs more than 25 people.
