Candriam reports inflows of €1 billion a month for 2015

Euro wealthSpecialist European asset manager Candriam Investors Group saw €1 billion of inflows each month for 2015, the firm says.

The €12 billion of inflows were divided equally between the institutional and retail business, and its multi-asset solutions picked up the most investment (€4.5 billion).

The firm’s assets under management increased by €14 billion, or 18%, year-on-year to €94 billion.

According to Candriam, distribution was strongest in Belgium, Spain, Germany and Italy. It further claims to have gained traction with institutional investors in France and Belgium with products and services that comply with the Solvency II framework for insurance companies.

“We expect the general investment climate to remain challenging and [we] will continue our commitment to always offer innovative investment strategies which deliver consistent yield for our clients,” said Naïm Abou-Jaoudé, chief executive officer of Candriam.
