Alternative investment manager HQ Capital has expanded its supervisory board, with the appointment of property investment specialist Barbara Knoflach and Philipp Geller.
The pair are set to join the supervisory board, which currently consists of Gabriele Quandt, Axel May and chair Thomas Jetter.
Knoflach is currently deputy chief executive & global head of investment management at BNP Paribas Real Estate. Prior, she spent over 20 years at SEB Investment. Under her leadership, SEB’s fund management business saw its assets under management increase from €2 billion to over €12 billion euros.
She has previously served as a board member of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate and committee member of the German Property Federation.
Geller, a Partner at HQ Trust, has overseen equity fund manager selection for HQ Trust since October 2011. Previously, he worked at UBS for seven years and, before then, at Sauerborn Trust, where he was responsible for equity fund research in Germany. Geller began his career with Julius Baer in 1998 as a sell-side equity analyst.
HQ Capital currently manages around €5.3 billion in private equity investments, and also manages assets of around €5.3 billion in its real estate business.
