Invesco lands Deutsche marketing chief

Henning SteinInvesco has appointed Henning Stein as head of institutional marketing for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea) region.

Based in Zurich, Stein will become part of the distribution leadership team led by Colin Fitzgerald, head of Invesco’s Emea institutional business.

Stein joins from Deutsche Asset Management, where he led Emea marketing activities for the firm’s active division and academic foundation.

He replaces Carsten Majer, who has been appointed to chief marketing officer for Invesco’s continental Europe division, which has doubled in size since 2013.

Last month, Invesco appointed influential fund selector Mark Dampier, head of investment research at UK financial adviser Hargreaves Lansdown, to the board of the £195 million (€250 million) Invesco Income Growth trust.

Invesco manages assets of around $741 billion (€669 billion).
