Source boosts its European operations

Peter ThompsonSource has created dedicated teams to serve the needs of clients in six key European jurisdictions, as part of its efforts to expand and enhance its operations across the continent.

The move included the appointment of six regional heads. These are:

  • David Lake, managing director, United Kingdom
  • Marco Mautone, managing director, Switzerland
  • Sascha Specketer, executive director, Germany and Austria
  • Ludovic Djebali, managing director, France, Belgium and Luxembourg
  • Stefano Caleffi, executive director, Italy
  • Sjef Pieters, executive director, Scandinavia and the Netherlands

Outside of Europe, Stefan Garcia, a managing director at Source, will have responsibility for Source’s Middle East and Africa operations.

Peter Thompson (pictured), president of Source, said that the firm launched its largest-ever advertising campaign to raise the firm’s profile in the UK last year.

“The new structure will enable us to grow even closer to our investors in key markets. The ETF market in Europe is changing apace, with whole new segments of investors waking up to the benefits of ETFs,” said Thompson.

Source manages assets of around €17.4 billion.
