Hermes appoints Marshall as head of private debt

handshakeHermes Investment Management has hired Patrick Marshall in a newly created role as head of private debt and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). Marshall will be responsible for establishing and building Hermes’ business in the leveraged loan, private debt and CLO markets in the UK, Europe and globally. Based at the company’s headquarters in London, he will report to Zoe Shaw, head of fixed income. He was previously responsible for managing loan portfolios as part of the process of the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy. He also has experience of setting up a debt management business in London during his work at WCAS Fraser Sullivan Investment Management.
