Henderson hires associate director for institutional business

London-based Henderson Global Investors has appointed Alex Mander as an associate director for its institutional business to work with UK consultants.

Mander joins from Daiwa SB Investments where he worked as a business development manager actively building assets throughout Europe in both institutional and wholesale markets. He has been in the investment industry for over six years.

Nick Adams, head of Europe, Middle East and Africa, institutional says that the firm’s expansion of its London-based consultant relations team is a reflection of its success with institutional investors, especially those with fixed income strategies in the UK.

“Alex is an excellent addition to our established team and will help us reach a broader audience for our evolving range of investment capabilities,” says Adams.

Henderson had £82.1 billion (€115.9 billion) in assets under management, as at June 30 this year.
