Defaqto launches fund rating service

Survey1Defaqto has launched a ratings service for managed fund performance, the Diamond Ratings. The independent financial research company says it aims to help advisers where managed funds sit in the market by assessing performance and other key attributes. Diamond Ratings give each fund a rating of one to five based on performance, using the in-house QuantRater, a quantitative fund rating system, and Sharpe ratio. The ratings also incorporate other aspects, such as competitiveness in key areas like cost, scale, access and manager longevity. ©2013 funds europe
