BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed four people to newly created roles within its UK client development team for institutional investors in an attempt to win new business.
Sid Newby, who joined from BNY Mellon, where he was head of sales and marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is now head of pension fund sales.
Felix Schachter has been appointed head of insurance company sales and will aim to develop BNP Paribas Securities Services’ UK insurance business. He joined from Aon, where he lead the European insurance practice for McLagan, Aon’s financial services management consultancy.
Having joined from EY, where she was a management consultant, Aïda Molineux has been is appointed head of client service. In her new role, she will head the client service team covering asset owners, asset managers and alternative investment managers.
Ben Williams-Thomas is appointed sales manager for information solutions.
BNP Paribas Securities Services says Schachter, Molineux and Williams-Thomas arrived this week, meaning the team is all in place.
BNP Paribas Securities Services is a global custodian with nearly $8 trillion (€5.9 trillion) in assets under custody.
