BNP Paribas Security Services (BNPP SS) has made three senior hires to develop its business in the Netherlands with a focus on the country’s pension fund market.
Robert van Kerkhoff is appointed head of the Netherlands, and will relocate to Amsterdam to take up the role. Van Kerkhoff was previously deputy head of operations for asset and fund services, based in Paris. Prior to joining BNPP SS he worked as Fortis Bank’s chief operating officer for Spanish business.
Van Kerkhoff replaces Erwin Reyes, who moves from his role as country head for the region to take on a newly created position as secretary general for BNPP SS in the Netherlands, with responsibility for internal organisation and projects.
The final appointment is Ronald Koelewijn, who also takes on a newly created role of head of sales for the Netherlands. Koelewijn will be responsible for business development across all client segments in the country. He was previously global client development manager for banks and brokers for the Netherlands and the Nordics at BNPP SS.
Gerald Noltsch, head of Germany, Northern Europe, Central and Eastern Europe and commonwealth of independent states at BNPP SS, says: “We are seeing strong demand to help investors in light of regulatory changes, AIFMD [the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive] being one of them.”
