BMO Global Asset Management appoints Europe client directors

BMO Global Asset Management, the North American asset manager that bought F&C and is now building its European business, has hired personnel from Insight Investments and Mercer to build its client management team.

Andrew Jones has been appointed as director, consultant relations, from Insight Investments where he had a similar role.

Richard Ferris becomes director, client relations, and previously worked at consultancy firm, Mercer, where he was a principal and client director.

Both work in BMO’s institutional client management team for Europe, Middle East & Africa (Emea), and are joined by Laura Gray, who becomes client director, international, and previously worked at Aberdeen Asset Management.

Jones and Ferris will report to Greg Skinner, head of UK institutional and consultant relations. Gray reports to Kristy Barr, head, institutional distribution, Emea.
