Barings appoints lead marketer

Mike EvansBaring Asset Management has appointed Mike Evans as head of marketing and communications in London. Evans reports directly to David Brennan, Barings’ chairman and chief executive officer. He joins Barings from Legg Mason Global Asset Management, where he was head of international intermediary marketing and led the firm’s marketing activities across Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to this, he held various marketing positions at BNY Mellon and Schroders.
