Andreas is global chief investment officer at RCM and also global CIO equities for parent company Allianz Global Investors. “Andreas has a difficult role within AGI, but he’s managed it well,” said one judge.

A hallmark of Andreas’s approach is a focus on creating a sustainable investment culture by emphasising individual accountability, transparency and interdependence.

Prior to joining RCM, Andreas was global head and CIO at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), where he worked for twelve years. Before his time with MLIM Andreas worked with Deutsche Bank. He holds a BSc in economics from the London School of Economics and an MA in economics from  Belgium’s Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
